Yahoo launches its new product – Yahoo SearchPad, Now live !

Boy these Yahoo guys keep coming up with new stuff you know, this time its the Search Pad, the Yahoo SearchPad !

Wondering what’s it ? Here’s what Yahoo has to say.

Search Pad helps you track sites and make notes by intelligently detecting user research intent and automatically collecting sites the user visits. Search Pad turns on automatically when you’re doing research, tracking sites to make document authoring a snap. You can then quickly edit and organize your notes with the Search Pad interface, which includes drag-and-drop functionality and auto-attributed pasting.

- You can save your documents using your Yahoo! ID so you can access your documents from anywhere on the Web.

- After you’ve done your research, you can publish your document to a permanent URL to share with friends and family.

From what I understood, yahoo SearchPad is an online note taking, sort of application which is intelligent enough to track your search patterns and suggest you best options taking clues from your search history. Its also got sharing options which is great.

The only problem is that I haven’t used anything else like it earlier, its new. So am going to try getting used to it.
