Steve is a spammer. He makes $1000  a day on Pinterest. And he’s proud about it.

According to him, Pinterest is the easiest to spam social network today, so much that they are doing almost nothing to “catch” his multiple spam bot accounts in there. His source of income? Amazon affiliates.

So, what’s the story all about?

Steve started the whole deal on Feb 20th, when Pinterest used to use a script called Skimlinks. What this did was when anything was pinned that had any type of affiliate link involved, Skimlinks would replace your affiliate tag with theirs. This caused a lot of bad press and outrage and they did away with it.

The claim then was that Pinterest as making revenue by quietly plugging in their own affiliate links to Pins.

So how does he do it?

Multiple spam accounts and little bit of automation – just like good old spamming.

Steve goes on to say that he uses some scripts that lets him automate the process, by adding pins and attaching affiliate links to them.
