    Hi,

    Can anyone please tell me what happened to overture keyword suggestion tool ? Are there any other tools to research keywords ? Please list a few.

    You can also see the frequency on Google Trends.

    Thanks a lot Mani for this list. This is of tremendous help.

    I have a query regarding these tools. When i enter "seo india" in http://freekeywords.wordtracker.com, it shows 23 searches. Please clarify whether these searches are for U.S only or wordwide. Similarly, in tools.seobook, Google daily est. number shows 19. Is this number taken from Google.com searches or combined number from regional google searches.

    It's the international google figures. Wordtracker is not updated data, u can ignore it. Google trends might be a better option in your case.

    I have few query regarding Meta Tags. I am right now working on that and want to know a little more than just basics of it. The following are my queries:

    1. What are the main points that has to be kept in mind while selecting targeting keywords in the title/description/keywords or how effectively one can choose target keywords?

    2. what is the no of characters required in title/description or how much is required in keywords?

    3. Apart from this basic strategy to get a high page rank(meta tags) anything else which helps in high page rank.



    Currently, The above 3 are a main concern for me to do .Kindly, help me to solve this problem.

    1. If you are talking about meta tags desc/kw, then they dont help you get ranks at all. All they help is to get a good attractive copy for the site on the SERPS. BUt the title is important. While selecting title, make sure the most important KW is towards the start and the variants followed. Never repeat your KW on the title.

    2. Title can contain optimum 5-6 phrases and 160ish characters in desc.
    3. Meta tags dont give you high PR. The only way to get high PR is to get incoming links from high value PR sites.
