Search Google better with more options than ever before

In its continuous tries to improve the end user search experience, Google has launched its whole new search enhancement tool (tools), with more search options and enhanced results.

Google has launched a set of additional Search options for all users now accessible from the top menu on a Google search. (Click on More Options…)

1. You can now sort your search results based on the site type and content.

Ex: – From within your search, you can filter for Videos, Forums and Reviews

2. Now you can sort the results based on a time line. Filter for results within a particular available time frame.

3. Pull up images and more text from the websites on the results page

Now you can refine the search and get an idea of what the websites are about by finding images from the results and finding more textual content from the website.

4. See related search terms on a visual “Wonder Wheel”

What does the new search options mean ?

As obvious, Google is on a continuous “improvisation mode” where its trying all that it can to enhance the end user search experience by making the searches more easy, effortless and accurate. With threats (or opportunities?) from real time searches like Twitter, its high time Google brought in new features. So this one’s no surprise.
