Recently, Amit and Darren had posted in their blogs that young chaps aged 12-ish are already in to the blogsphere for some serious blogging. And Amit(Labnol) came across a case where one chap(very young one) asked him by email as to whether he should give up his studies to make a career in blogging.

With these incidents in mind, i just ran a quick check on the job/career opportunities for bloggers in India and came up with a reasonably good news.

A company pagetraffic.com has listed their vacancy of a professional blogger, on Naukri.com.
The salary offered is 80K - 120K per annum. You need to be a sound in English writing skills and a net savvy guy.
This is actually good news! At least for those who are thinking of giving up studies for blogging, this is an alternative(though the salary is low).

My prediction is that down the line you’ll have more options on a career in blogging and more attractive offers. Count on it!
