Forget all other SEO plugins, here’s a brand new one to replace

Somebody had to do it and Rajesh from Tech Bliss Online is the man to do it. Even though All in One SEO was the most downloaded plugin, I wasn’t quite impressed by it’s functions. Sure it took care of the basic functions, but it wasn’t versatile. There were so many other functions and features a real SEO plugin had to take care of, AllinOne SEO ignored many of them. There were some better plugins available like the Headspace one, but it was too complicated for new users of WordPress.
Rajesh has the new Platinum plugin now, which is an improvised version of the AllinOne SEO plugin. It does everything that AllinOne was doing and also some extra cool features. I’d say that this one is more closer to the real SEO plugin I was talking about. It takes care of pretty much everything, a bit more advanced than a basic SEO plugin but easy to use as well.

The best part of the plugin is that it helps you to block certain pages like category, tags or any posts by Google, Yahoo and search engines by including “no index” tags at these specified pages/posts.
You don’t have to tweak Robots.txt hereafter, just select from the page as to which page/caegory is to be blocked or no indexed and the plugin does it beautifully.
So far I haven’t come across any glitches but the good thing is that unlike AllinOne SEO, Rajesh is available for support on this plugin. I would rate it a 4 our of 5 !

I’m using all in one SEO and I can’t say that there is any good reason for me to switch at this time.Is there any great use of this plug-in that should make me change my mind?

Why would one consider to leave Tags and Categories without indexing?
We have some duplicate content issues with it Vasu. Check out other postslike on duplicate content and you will find out why.
and may i know why are you still using the “old” All in one SEO Pack after wrote this article?
Jacky, I run the platinum one on all my other sites. I am not keen on no indexing the pages here on DSB, its doing really well already the way it is. I might experiment it with any new projects though. Glad you asked the Q.

My account was under hit due to some heavy traffic (as my host informed me) and brought it down…It is up now…and i have asked for an investigation…
Anyway you can always download the plugin from the wordpress repository…
WordPress is a great blogging platform and getting it search engine optimized really isn’t a hard task. Using proper permalinks and robots.txt file to prevent duplicate content and a few other methods can really make a difference. The All in One SEO plugin is really the best bet.
Has anyone run tests to see if this helps rankings?

We are having a problem with this plugin in google. We used All-in-one seo for months and had great search engine rankings for our homepage with our keywords, title tag, description, etc
We just upgraded to platinum SEO and now for some reason the homepage tags DO NOT display in google.
The tags are properly displaying, and you can see them if your view our source, however, Google is not reading them for some reason. We just lost one of our page one rankings today because of it and we are super bummed
The title tag contains:
Teen Girls Shopping, Trendy Teen Fashion, Cute Teen Clothing | PrettyPrincess.US
However, it is only showing up in Google as this:
| PrettyPrincess.US
Our homepage is the only page having the problem. We have selected the rewrite titles, we have filled in the proper fields, and we cannot seem to fix it.
Is there a known problem where Google has an issue with this plugin?
We would appreciate any help. We love the rest of the plugin, we have donated to it, and want to keep this plugin for the benefit of blocking our tags to help link juice, but if our homepage is not indexable with meta tags in google we are going to have to go back to All in one seo as its search engine suicide they way it is right now

What do you expect from a blatant ripoff. The guy has no real knowledge of what is going on with AIOSEO, but makes changes to it and calls it the “replacement” for AIOSEO … we found it to be poor ripoff and several things not working as they did in the original plugin.
You are better off sticking with what does work.
Don’t believe me, run your own tests with both and find out.
We use All In One SEO Pack for a long time.
We think it’s the best and nothing can change it.
It’s time to change something new.

Platinum was a temporary fix… it’s never been kept up to date and the code seems to only mimic what others are doing.
