SEO Friendly Layout

Google reads your webpage from top left, to bottom. Well, in general they do, but because most websites contain a left hand column which contains all of their navigation links, the robot neglects them and you lose an excellent opportunity !

Here’s how to get hold of it.
Google WILL View all of the text in the left hand column before the body of the webpage. Normally this column will consist of your navigational links, like the HOME, ABOUT ME, SERVICES etc. This isn't good for us, because we want Google to actually read our content first!

Here is what you need to do:

Rather than creating a table that has the first column(< td >) with links, and the second column with the contents, make a page in which the table has two columns and the first column with two rows. Then leave the first row of the first column empty and enter the navigational links in the second row of the first column. Therefore, the robot will see the content and the keywords in it first, then moving to the navigational links – this will do the trick! See images for reference
