Alright then lets get to the real stuff. I heard my friend complaining on GAS (Google AdSense) last day -
“These guys take us for granted! They dont give a damn about the time and effort i spend designing my website optimized to GAS - I wish i shouldn’t have !”

Yes you are right - hes one of those Banned for Lifetime - once GAS user !

The reason - his blog is not anymore featuring the Google Ads. Courtesty - Google Robots!

So what’s new? My earlier post also was on invalid clicks ?

Well, the point i’m trying to make is that - why does Google fail to use the right methods in getting things done? It’s as if Google is a big dumb robot trying to scratch it’s ass - but it cant - with it’s iron claws!(No pun intended!)

My friend tried to incorporate the GAS into his blog.

- He first selected the best template that’s compatible with GAS.
- He modified the template to fine tume to GAS.
- He modified the GAS code to “match” the blog colours.
- He used the “google section targeting” tool to get heavily targeted ads and to avoid those “blog ads”
- He used all the SEO tools possible for an amateur like the Meta tag tools, Back linking, Directory Submission and everything else(yes, including buying links)!
- He selected a niche keyword and built the posts around it.
- He highlighted the Keywords
- He joined forums
- He wrote genuine content

but he forgot that…Google is only a search engine after all - with an army of dumb ROBOTS!!

I call them dumb because one fine morning with all that steroids being pumped to the site, Google’s robots crawled the site only to find it - SPAM !!

Ridiculuous ? Defenitely not - Google has an explanation and it withdrew the publication option of the blog - you can see it, edit it and view it. But wouldnt allow you to use it - this made the GAS account ot be suspended.

Now my friend is all desperate, I said trying to console him - My boy! Google is the God here - this time he cursed you - you’re damned now - take a new life (start a new website!)

but, it sucked everything out of you, your time, your money(blog is free but his net connection is not broad band and is costly),your ideas and your confidence!

At this point of time, i prefer to stand by my friend! what about you?

I know you want to make easy money -But im not the only one, Google knows it too.

Honestly, I’ve tried using Google AdSense(hereafter will be called GAS..for my convenience), many a times. Precisely on three websites. The first one was a forum and i was learning how to earn money using Adsense..oops GAS. And, i had used it very well, got my furst check after 6 months for 15K rupees! (nothing big.. i know :-p)

I was surprised thought o find that i was disapproved of GAS, i mean from GAS one fine night!
Yes, the reason - Invalid Clicks! (I’l get more friends for saying this term i know) Okay, even though this was a shock, (cos i had lost my 100 plus dollars already!) i thought of ivestigating it.

I found that one of my moderators in the forum - not knowing the TOS completely - had urged some of my members to click on the ads that feature on the top and bottom of the page. ALARMING!

I found this from another forum on the net - where i requested members to give clue on whu i had been banned. NOT from Google! G didnt want to disclose it’s algorithm so all that they told me was that i had been banned of Invalid Clicks!

I asked to my members(who were urged to click by my Mods) as to how many clicks would you have done per day. And the response left me with some genuine doubts.

Many of them said they found it boring and only clicked once or twice a day (boring cos they might have clicked on an ad they were least interested in). As my forum was pretty new once, it only had less than 300 members and added 10-20 every month out of which 10-15 were active in posts. How many actually acted according to my Mods request on clicking the ads is yet to be guessed.

So i now got the clear picture. My members were giving me only a few clicks every day. Below 30 i would say.

And taking into consideration the number of page views on the forums, and the irrelevant ads, the convertion ratio was pathetic, i had to assume that it wasnt them who contributed to the Invalid Clicks!

Then who? The question arises.

I hadnt clicked.

My members clicked but few.

I dint know where the hell the Invalid clicks came?

But i had to assume that this was because of my members! In their clicking frenzy, they might have made a LOT of mistakes!

So i had my fist bad feeling about GAS then. I ate it though!

Once, i was checking the forum i had posted my request about - finding out how to trace the invalid clicks. I found an interesting reply. It said along the lines of -

” Hey dude, so how’s ******(my forum name) going, oh! poor you got your AdSense disabled? i dont see them anymore on your site - i see blank spaces(i hadnt removed the code yet).

I had warned you, before you came into the business, you should study it - u were a bit quick !

Anyways, see ya! ask me if u need any help !”

I was shocked - yep, once again!

It was my envious - evil -neighbour forum guy!

Since we both had similar forums (content wise) he was not very happy with mine. and had been trying his best to do all evil on me.

He tried to hack - i restored.

He tried to spam - i blocked.

He tried to say bad about my foum - its ill effects - i convinced my members.

He clicked many times on my ads - I got banned from GAS!

Simple! so it was my envious neighbour who mass-clicked my ads and got me banned.

He won! ( I lost)
