Hey guys,
Just imagine this - Google is yet another dumb robot (who cant scratch it’s butt/armpits, cos of its metal hands) - sorry if it hurts anyone - it wasnt intentional.

Havent you heard about David and Goliath? I somehow have this weird imagination that google is this giant goliath robot and there are lots of david’s around, playing with it.Let me explain what made me think this way.

I’m still in the process of studying how efficient GAS is - in banning fraudsters, in serving legitimate ads and in detecting MFA’s.

Recently there were lot of bans on GAS publishers, and many of them were legitimate bans, they had detected fraud in many ways related to these sites.Fair enough - Google and its army is doing great.

Infact my respect for google began to improve these days - even though i was banned, i got over it. I decided not to whine over it and not to get reinstated again. After all they are so smart in detecting fraud. Seemed like if they detect the smallest doubt regading fraud, they would ban the account.

The entire process involves humans who review flagged websites, and also primary detection by google robots snd cookies.

Its also alarming to know that Google treats websites based on their “publishing power”. They categorize websites into Poor , Poorer, Poorest based on traffic they have. I’ll talk more on that stuff in another post.

Now, i just happened to see some websites(many i would say) who are working basically against the TOS. Nothing surprising here. You might have come across many right?
Now i was wondering why is google is blind to this? Isn’t their algorithms smart enough to detect this? Or are the representatives there neglecting them only because they do not have traffic?
I talked about these on some forums like DP - where i posted screenshots of websites against the TOS.

Some of them were porn sites that served “JOB” sites ads on them. Some were file transfer sites with no content what so ever on it. Some of them were just sites with only ADS !!!
It didn’t take me any effort to find them - just do a search on google with terms like “please click on ads”,”support us -click ads” and similar ones.

The replies were alarming - some said - why are you so concerned?- honestly, this is not of any concern to google as these site have no traffic!

Now that’s not very impressive. I’ll tell you why.

I had started a small blog on the blogspot avenue. It got no traffic, it got no porn stuff - nothing. Just a simple blog on the often seen “How to make money on the internet” thingy! It was a silly stupid blog with some ad blocks - all according to the TOS.
Guess what? It was banned on the next week. lol

I cant think of anything that made it earn such a reputation and get banned so early!
Fair enough? For the google algorithm, this is reasonable.
– Sounds like a joke to me.

Owing to the recent BANNING SPREE by Google here are some facts i found.

- Many revenue sharing program members have been banned.- Many “experts” who preached Google TOS and followed them like The Bible, were banned.

- It all happens on a month end (Remember companys are always on a deadlinie at monthend.)- It happens(alleged) once when you cross a decent margin of revenue

- There are reasons like - “Relation with another banned account” apart from the most used and abused “invalid clicks”.- Google has hired new AdWord/AdSense(GAS) Representatives

And these are some resons i thik should attribute to the BANNING:-

- These newly hired AdSense/AdWord representatives are on some kinda deadline with their targets (of banning sites.)

- Google is trying to get FREE advertising by banning sites at the month end and promising to give back the Advertisers cost(which in most cases they havent.) even thought they can easily trace any fraud site earlier.

- Google algorithm is floppy.

I’m sure everyone will not agree with me. But i’ll be glad to see if anybody thinks similar.

Okay, so i’ve learned my lesson.
Just a recap of what happened last week - Despite my tries to make a fortune on GAS (Google AdSense?) i got banned for “my relation with another site that was banned for Invalid clicks” and is whining over it now.
In fact i was shocked to get the “banned email” from Google - like anyone would. I found that i’m not alone and that there friends!!
Hooray! That made me help put on a smile instead of that sober face.
I posted my worries and questions regarding google’s credibility on the DP forums - to my surprise i found that there are a lot of those unfortunate ones like me who got banned. Many of them shared their PUB id on the DP forums or similar programs and got their accounts banned. Hmm - i am the only one who got banned for using GAS on my blog. Damn!
Now let me give you some details.

I hosted my blog on Blogspot.com which is believed to be Google’s.
My content was primarily on “Making money on the internet from home” . I decided to take up this project cos i found it as one of those high-paying keywords that i can write about. I would have had a hard time writing about Mesothelioma or Skin cancer and stuff.

I thought of being honest with it, writing a blog on something i knew rather than copying content from Ezines or watever.I knew that there are a lot of programs available on the net like - Copy writing online, Browse the net and get paid and stuff. I thought i’ll write on them and target my ads accordingly and i made no mistake. I wrote articles on these items and optimized my content so as to get targeted results too.

If you are curious to know my blog, check out http://make-money-from-home-india.blogspot.com

I’m still wondering as to why Google thinks a blog on Blogspot is Spam?
I cant publish my blog now. Is this attributed to the topics there or ?
