This tool is an online application that let’s you draw images just like you do on MS paint on your PC. Well, it’s almost a replica of the MS Paint tool.

You may even save your paintings online on to their servers and show it off to other’s online. Pretty cool idea!

Unlike the normal MS paint tool, there are two options
1. Pretty Curves and - That let’s you draw the lines in a pretty smooth line, much helpful when drawing on slow internet connections.

2.Draw control Points - A look alike for pentool of popular graphic design tools. I think this is not really helpful apart from a brag.

Adobe Photoshop CS3 easter egg is found! Yes, soon after it’s release, this crack was reported at profit42.com and is alleged to be working.

Follow the following steps to get it cracking.

1. Open Photoshop CS3 beta

2. Go to help > About Photoshop and look at the splash screen, quite normal isn’t it?

3. Click the spalsh screen to close it. Now press and hold CTRL + ALT

4. While still holding CTRL + ALT again go to help > About Photoshop.

5. Enjoy the new splash screen!

6. Wait till the text starts to scroll.

7. Press ALT to speed the scrolling up.

8. Keep an eye on the credits (the good part starts just before the credits stop scrolling)

I must apologize for not having tried it yet because i don’t have a copy of the software yet. Those who have managed to get it, should try this. And let me know?

Here’s a simple tip to clean your system in seconds.

This works only for Windows XP(haven’t tried it yet on Win98)

On your desktop, create a new shortcut and instead of browsing for a file, write down this shortcut-

%windir%system32rundll32.exe advapi32.dll,ProcessIdleTasks

Click Next - and name it “Whatever you want(literally)”.

And then open the shortcut when ever you feel that your system is running low on resources.

Here’s a cool trick that will help pages load much faster on firefox and thereby help you speed up your browsing experience.

1 - Open Firefox

2 - Type in “about:config” in the address bar

3 - You’ll get a list of attributes in the viewing pane.

In it, scroll down to locate “network.http.pipelining” and change/toggle the value to “True”(default as False) by right clicking on the entry.

You may also use the filter tab(right on top of the page below address bar) to find the entry by simply typing in “network.http” whiwh will take you directly to the entry rather than finding it manually.

4 - Next scroll down to “pipelining.maxrequests” and reset the value against it to 10, or any higher value(default 4), by right clicking on the entry.

That’s it,

Now close the tab and browse any sites - do you see a difference? It may not be evident though there is a bit of difference.

Well, many softwares/websites have been around that boasted of the same thing - watch streaming tv online with us! None of them never seem to work.

Here’s a cool website that i came across which actually works - Streamick!

This one although has a small screen, almost similar to you tube, uses a Windows media player plugin to stream channels through. Although broadband internet connection is required, it manages to stream channels pretty smooth.

One good feature i found is that none of the streams/channels are broken. This is one problem i faced with many other softwares and sites that boasted of streaming. Probably this is because it’s got a “report broken link” on the homepage that it utilizes very much.Decent do anyway!

I found Doordarshan News on the list and that’s pretty sweet - To see an Indian channel there.

I’ve hand picked from the internet a list of web sites that helps you watch cable tv online, streaming only - no downloading required.

• Peekvid - This site has over 700 episodes from a range of TV shows including 24, Family Guy, Lost, Prison Break, Scrubs, South Park and over 50 others.
• FreeTube - best alternative to youtube, where you can watch TV channels online.
• ChannelKing - Many broadband TV channels from around the world available here.

Here are some Desi Youtube sites that you may have not heard about.

• Meravideo.com
• Tubedesi
• AapkaVideo
• Apnatube
• Video Dubba

Although these are not streaming TV channels, they are worth a watch since the desi content is predominant in them. They are more like the desi version of Youtube.They may come in handy should any tv channel fail to load.

these days, surfing orkut/myspace can get you fired at the job. Here is a work around that will help you to browse restricted site like orkut and myspace at school/work.

1 - Google Transalator tool.

According to the Google Transalator tool, it helps you to convert a website in one language to another.

When you use the tool, according to the selections you make on the languages, you will get a url like this - http://www.google.com/translate?langpair=en|es&u=www.yoursite.com

In which the en initial is for English and es initial is for Spanish.No matter what you select all you need to know is that -
Just replace the language initials to en and en making it translate any web page from English to English.

The url would look similar to - http://www.google.com/translate?langpair=en|en&u=www.yoursite.com

Replace the www.yoursite.com to orkut or myspace.

This may not work in all situations but is sure a work around with no risks like using a proxy that may have security issues.

2 - USe Undercover Browsing

Goto any of these anonymous proxy websites - www.kproxy.com

Enter the address of the site you wish to browse(orkut.com/myspace.com) and hit enter.

Now you can browse the restricted site right at your office/school, and nobody will know.

Blogger is anyway, out of beta. And the developers are pretty much excited about it.

We have a better dashboard now - Hmm…well, dont ask me what, but that’s what they say.
Yes, have you guys noted the help-resource box on the bottom right at the dashboard, in case you haven’t cheked it - the blogger status thing wont just work.It shows a 404 Forbidden error to me.

We have instant publishing now - no more illusionists circle!

We have a full feed option now - which is great! We could have individual feeds for all the comments on the blogs and posts.The RSS 2.0 formats also have been incorporated.Wicked!!

Protecting your blog - keep it within your family. Yep if you just don’t want to show your blog to others or you are a private deective, or just want to share your monthly expenses living in the US to family in India, use this feature!

Customized design - been there with the beta, just re enforcing the idea.

It would’ve been more interesting if the questions at the top were answered, but hey there’s the next version coming up sometime later - I’ll wait.

That’s the kind of services these guys around are offering. The so called AdSens gurus.
The internet community on the whole is allergic to the Bright coloured christmas lights type of ads and single page e-book marketing sites. And when experts are looking for ideas of alternative monetization, seems like there’s no putting down “The AdSense guys” .

Just out of curiosity, i searched on google and managed to fish out a few who offered me “Dollars within a week” and convinced me to actually build my bunglow on AdSense.
I just have to pay them less than US $100, and they offered me a website,free templates,free ebooks,free ebooks and more e books, secret formulas,magic wands and what not?

I dont understand as to how these gurus have managed to escape from the (empathise)customers who already bought their books and offers. I could not read any testimonials on their site for this reason.

I came across this man called Gobala Krishnan from Malaysia who calls himself - The Wordpress guy, if i remember right, this man was called the AdSense guy a few months earlier. A carefully drafted script on his site will convince even the top earners on AdSense that they join his “program”. And for the “reading impaired” - there’s an mp3 recitation of guideline on why you should take his course/pay him money !

Another find was “The AdSense man” who promised you the world if you joined him.

Many of them had their “vibrant” pictures on the websites in different poses, in different costumes. Fair enough- survival of the fittest eh?

My guess is that there should be some genuine guys around but i personally don’t seem to trust a guy who’s shouting across the street holding a mike in his hand(and with a belly dancer around) shouting “Come oh! people your money is waiting - do it now or never!”

The truth is that there is a huge chunk of market who are on the lookout for “making money ” from a website(and being idle), and the gurus have actually plunged into this market with their tricks and formulas, it’s just a matter of conneting to the market before they read a valid article on adsense.After all they too thrive on page views and clicks!

My suggestion is that if sites built just for adsense is called MFA’s then these guys be called the same - they’re no different.
