A question everybody (except John Chow, Amit Agarwal or Darren Rowse) is hesitant to answer. Well, there is nothing to hide after all I don’t believe that the success of a blog is in making money online. It’s got to do more with the brand building socializing etc for me. And any income that comes out of it is bonus.( I have a full time job to worry about..) Well, For the month of August 2007, here’s how much money i made out of this blog.
Google AdSense - US $ 103
Co blogging - US $ 50
Adify - US $ 10 ![]()
—————————-
Total US $ 163
Not a party-thrower stuff. Eh? Well, I hope this will encourage other bloggers (at least in India) who are not A-Listers to reveal their income and show what’s actually behind the much hyped blogging guru status all of us enjoy.
Quick note: I had pulled off Nautank.tv ads from the blog since there were complaints raised about the bad user experience it creates. Nautanki had already paid me INR 8000 (US $ 177 appx)for the first month. I’m thinking of including them once again, in a more convenient spot that creates no bad user experience. After all they have a great turn out ratio compared to any other ads.
