Most of us have only one account on Twitter, but it isn’t surprising to see people handling more than one account at the same time. Sometimes, its a great idea to keep things spread out and clear. Like some people use one account for personal tweets while another account for promoting resources and websites.
An example – Guy Kawasaki has another account for replying to queries on his main profile.
I’ve wondered if keeping more than one account really help increase your productivity. And there are more questions raised than answers. What is your take ? Would you have more than one account on Twitter ?

I do already (and have done for some time) ran three accounts on Twitter that are all in use on a daily basis.
I’m not so sure I see it as increasing productivity however it allows me to reach a more targeted audience as each account gathers a different selection of followers.
Followers of Account 1 may not be interested in the updates that Account 3 has to offer so this method allows me to try and stay on topic and relative.
Albeit, time consuming :p
