This isn’t a serious post guys. Last day Matt pointed out a website (that reminded me of my old days, when i used to hand code HTML pages), that’s banned(or going to be i dunno) from Google.

Apparently, it seems that the banning is not because of the stupid product(magnetic rings that makes you live long) the owner tries to sell through the blog, but because of a grave mistake he did, that Google will not forgive. Keyword stuffing!

The site owner had placed a small text area in the bottom right of the page into which he had stuffed in keywords like there’s no tomorrow.

None of them have any relation at all with the site and is even hilarious(Alien cemetery?)!

What I’m surprised about is Matt linking to that site right from the post!! Now, ban or not - that guy is going to get some bloody traffic from Matt’s blog.
He had posted a picture of the page, had it not been there, the traffic would’ve been five times what it is.

Moral(s) of the story.
- Don’t do anything stupid, like keyword stuffing, or keyword hiding/meta tag spamming(relatively less severe.) Or get ready to get thrown out of Google index.

- If you will anything to get linked by someone like Matt - do something really funny and stupid(like the guy did) and let Matt know.
Warning - This practice will risk your blogs reputation..and may prove fatal.
