Professional looking, XHTML valid Wordpress themes are really hard to find, is it not ?
From the numerous free Wordress theme galleries around, it’s really hard to find one that the crowd will immediately identify as “professional looking.” Almost all the free Wordpress themes available are amateurish, and leave that “yet another copy” impression to your blog.
If you are willing to move away from the “free” tag, there are actually, way better options for you.
For instance, the wordpress themes from Elegant Themes are really very impressive and stands apart from the normal themes, including magazine style themes.
I agree that there are lot of professional premium Wordpress themes out there that are really ahead in design, but I find that they will cost you as much as hiring a designer to code on from scratch. To top it, exclusive licenses are very hard to find.

Hi Sakib, I’ll say yes. However, you’ can tweak the codes a bit to fine tune them. By default they are say 60% optimized.

Good ones there. Some of the best looking WP themes I have seen. Wish they had one or two magazine themes, though. The current themes, though are excellent - some of the highly priced WP themes from some of the well-known names in the market are crap to look at. So these ones are an big relief to my eyes.

Yea Matt, that’s one feature I found impressive in them. I hope the mag style comes in soon. however some of the existing ones have the configuration as close to as magazine. Just the functions that is.

Mani, I just visited Elegant themes, And they said $19.95 for one year membership. So we have to pay $19.95 every year to use a theme..?

Nope. You get access to the forums and the members area for one year. you can download the themes and use it as long as you want but if themes are added later after one year, you wont get access to them. Its only a time based limit.
