I always thought that making the most of friends is the last word in getting popular on SU, back when I started using it. Over the time, there were even more myths like this one that I found were time wasters, and needed immediate attention. Infact, many of the things that I thought were “normal” was actually harming me in making the best of SU.
Let me share a few with you.

A smart way to put it. If your using social sites to do business that is. Also a non-spam suggestive way to do it so…

Good tips, I better start clearing out inactive friends. I’ve never been a fan of adding too many inactive friends, so that is one problem solved.
Stumbled.
One suggestion – your readers are SEOs/bloggers and may be active on delicious, so add a link at the end of each post (using PHP code in single.php) to delicious.

Some good tips, but I am still unsure of my way around SU and certain things like check how many stumbles they have, i am not really sure how to check that

Mani Karthik Replied:
Steve, goto the friends profile by clicking their name, and over there it wouldve been mentioned. The number of stumbles, fans and reviews. A higher number of stumbles and reviews are better.

Nice post MK. I’ve just discovered this blog and looking forward to be active in SU.

I thought ’send to’ was of little value. Experiments have shown a thumbs up from a send to adds very little stumblejuice
