2- The man behind these logos are “Dennis Hwang”, a webmaster at Google.

3 – The first Google doodle was designed by Larry and Sergey (For Burning Man festival, 1998)

 

Creative Google Logos

 

1. Google Missing Link Logo – May 20th, 2009

Reason – To honour the discovery of the 47-million year old preserved skeleton of a monkey-like creature, called the missing link (Darwinius masillae ).

Odds – The fossil barely fits the “O”, may be “g” was a better option.

 

2.  Google Apollo Landings Logo – July 21th

Reason – To honour 1969 Apollo 11 moon landing mission of 1969.

Odds – The “l” is replaced by the trails, which is faint.
