This is getting interesting now. Last week, Google featured a flying saucer logo, and today, Google shows a crop circles logo. Interestingly, in the flying saucer logo and the crop circles logo, one letter each seemed to be “abducted”. This has created more mystery and hype among Google fans, who’re now wondering what’s this all about.
Clearly, it looks like Google is suggesting something, or probably preparing a “serial marketing campaign” to generate the buzz before a grand product release ! And we have the facts to prove that this is deliberate.
In the flying saucer logo it was an O that was missing, and now in the crop circles logo its the L. This looks deliberate. Proof is that if you check the logo file name, each letter is missing it it.

Earlier when the flying saucer logo was published, there was a mysterious tweet on Google.
1.12.12 25.15.21.18 15 1.18.5 2.5.12.15.14.7 20.15 21.19 http://twitpic.com/giyxf
This time around too, there’s another mysterious tweet.
51.327629, -0.5616088 http://twitpic.com/hsfgl
Is there a sequence that these abductions occur ? First one was on September 5, 2009. The second is today September 15th, 2009. SO when is the next one ? September 25 ?
We have more questions than answers. What do you think is Google suggesting ? let’s make our guesses.
Update: The numbers in the Tweet could mean a Google Map Co-ordinate. Just search Google Maps for the numbers and you reach this place –
Woking, Surrey GU21 4, UK
Link to the exact Co-Ordinates. Now, if this is right, what is the significance of this place ? Anyone ?

the 1.12.12….. etc translates to:
ALL YOUR O ARE BELONG TO US to celebrate Zero Wing’s 20th anniversary (which is where “All your base are belong to us” comes from)
The coordinates are to 1-7 Woodham Rd, Woking, Surrey GU21 4, UK, according to Google Maps.
Woking was the site of HG Wells’ War of the Worlds Martian landing site.
